Music i bought last week-ish.

I bought two Collective Soul albums:

Colletive Soul (self titled)
Discpline Breakdown

Both are very good, and sometime I'll write up particular lyrics that I like from one or the other album, or both. But not today.

I also got "Who we are instead" by Jars of Clay. It's very different style as to how they started but I like it and think the lyrics in particular are very laden with meaning/depth.

did i tell you that my sting album of "brand new day" was scratched beyond possible playability? sigh. The online seller for it REALLY shouldn't have sold it. It wasn't saleable. tsk. I think i'll be alright without it though. heh.

I listened to "Brand New Day" a LOT on the ship... as well as "All This Time".

I just bought both albums off of used amazon.com. Great, and cheap. Ethical? Yeeeah, I think so. They probably just ripped them and did resale, but i don't know that. hm.. looking forward to receiving those in the mail sometime between now and next weekend. (c: oh boy. I can hardly wait. I'm singing the songs from it already, imagining the tunes, thinking about the words.

I'll write more about it when I get the CD's. Happy birthday to myself, eh? yeh-haa!
